We made visits to help patients endure adversity they were experiencing due to health issues by dressing up as familiar costumed crusaders. In 2014, we became a fully functioning 501C3. Our group has continued to grow through the selflessness of volunteers who want to contribute to the well being of kids battling illnesses and overcoming obstacles. Our board of directors works very hard to decide on how funds can be best used to fulfill our group’s mission. Each opportunity to help others by a monetary donation is carefully considered as it materializes. One major thing we do each year is sponsor a room at the Ronald McDonald House in Cleveland. Although it is $5,000 annually, it helps families in town for their children’s medical treatments not have to worry about expensive lodging. Additionally, we donate to families whose children are going through severe illness or adversity on a case by case basis. These opportunities could mean anything from additional financial support, to a special opportunity away from illness, to a special care package to a child overcoming adversity.
